This is a plain-English starting template, not drafted or reviewed by a solicitor. Treat it as a first draft to have checked before relying on it — particularly the liability and ownership clauses — once NextLot is taking in real items.
You confirm you own, or have the right to sell, everything you send. NextLot will not knowingly sell stolen or counterfeit goods and will report suspected stolen goods to the police.
Items you send to us are at your risk until received — insure the parcel. Items we send to buyers are at our risk, and we insure every outbound parcel ourselves.
Commission is calculated per the tiers published on the pricing page at the time an item is listed. A £20 withdrawal fee applies to items pulled after listing with no bids; items with a live bid or accepted offer cannot be withdrawn.
Items unsold after 60 days and 2 relist attempts are, at your choice, returned (return postage deducted from any other payout, or invoiced) or donated. Unclaimed choices default to donation after 14 days.
You may set a minimum sale price per item at the time of consignment. NextLot will not sell below a stated minimum, but cannot guarantee a sale at or above it within any time frame.
Electrical items are listed as working only if you've confirmed this. Where a buyer successfully disputes an item's condition and is refunded, that cost is absorbed by NextLot, not deducted from your payout, unless you misrepresented the item's condition at consignment.
Payout is made by bank transfer within 14 days of the applicable return window closing, with an itemised statement.
