About NextLot

NextLot is a new reselling service, run by Carl Tracy out of Northern Quarter, Manchester, Manchester. It doesn't have a sales history yet, an eBay store with feedback, or a company number — it's a working plan for the service, published before the first item has been sent in, so there's something concrete to react to rather than a pitch.

The idea is straightforward: most people have things worth real money sitting around that they don't sell, because photographing, pricing, writing and managing a listing — then dealing with buyer messages and packing a sale — is genuinely a few hours' work per item, done properly. NextLot does that work for a cut of the sale, and nothing if it doesn't sell.

What's true right now: nothing has been listed, no eBay seller account exists under this name, and the commission structure on the pricing page is a proposed model, not one tested against a single real sale. What's next: setting up the eBay store, getting the first few items in from friends and family as a trial, and only then opening this up properly.
